This gluten-free sandwich bread recipe is perfect for sandwiches, toast, or just enjoying with a spread. It's soft, fluffy, and has a great texture.

  • 3 cups Gluten-Free All-Purpose Flour Blend with xanthan gum
  • 1.5 tsp Baking Powder
  • 0.5 tsp Salt
  • 1 tbsp Sugar
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1.5 cups Warm Water

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x5 inch loaf pan.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together the gluten-free flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
  • Add the olive oil and warm water to the dry ingredients. Mix until just combined.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and spread evenly.
  • Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until a wooden skewer inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

For best results, let the bread cool completely before slicing.
