  • 1 lb Ground Turkey Lean
  • 1 packet Taco Seasoning Low Sodium
  • 1 cup Cooked Rice Brown or White
  • 1 cup Black Beans Drained and Rinsed
  • 1 cup Corn Frozen or Fresh
  • 0.5 cup Salsa
  • 0.25 cup Shredded Cheese Cheddar or Monterey Jack
  • 0.5 cup Sour Cream
  • 1 Avocado Diced Avocado

Preparation Steps

  • In a large skillet, brown the ground turkey over medium-high heat. Drain any excess fat.
  • Stir in the taco seasoning and add 0.5 cup of water. Bring to a simmer and cook for 5-7 minutes, or until the liquid is absorbed.
  • Divide the cooked rice, black beans, corn, and seasoned turkey among four bowls.
  • Top with salsa, shredded cheese, sour cream, and diced avocado. Serve immediately.

Feel free to add other toppings like chopped tomatoes, lettuce, or jalapeños.
