Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
Unroll crescent roll dough and separate into triangles.
In a small bowl, beat together cream cheese, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
Spread cream cheese mixture evenly over each triangle.
Roll up each triangle, starting from the wide end.
Dip each roll in melted butter, then in brown sugar and chopped pecans.
Place rolls on a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown.
Let cool slightly before serving.
