This Taco Pasta is a quick and easy weeknight meal that combines the flavors of tacos with the comfort of pasta. It's a family favorite!

  • 1 lb Ground beef Lean ground beef recommended
  • 1 package Taco seasoning Low sodium preferred
  • 1 cup Water
  • 1 can Diced tomatoes Drained
  • 8 oz Elbow macaroni
  • 1 cup Shredded cheddar cheese Optional topping
  • 0.25 cup Sour cream Optional topping

Preparation Steps

  • In a large skillet, brown ground beef over medium heat. Drain off any excess grease.
  • Stir in taco seasoning and water. Bring to a simmer.
  • Add diced tomatoes and elbow macaroni. Stir well.
  • Cover and simmer for 15-20 minutes, or until pasta is cooked through. Stir occasionally to prevent sticking.
  • Remove from heat and top with shredded cheddar cheese and sour cream, if desired. Serve immediately.
